• School hours: School begins at 8:50 AM, lunch is from 11:45 AM – 12:30 PM, and school is dismissed at 3:25 PM. Staff supervisors are outside from 8:35 AM to 8:50 AM and from 3:25 PM – 3:35 PM. Please do not drop your child off before 8:35 unless they are here for a specific program.
   
• Parking: Please do not park in the Staff parking lot. Did you know that it is illegal to make a U-TURN in a school zone? Making U-TURNS in school zones is extremely dangerous! Thank you for remembering not to park in the school bus zones (indicated by large traffic pylons).
   
• Student Absences: If your child(ren) will be absent or late please enter the absence in Edsby or phone the school office at 306-791-7300 to report their absence from school. If you email the classroom teacher, please copy the Office Managers at stelizabethschool@rcsd.ca.
   
• Edsby: Edsby is a web-based platform used to collaborate between educators, parents and students keeping them informed about school activities and learning progress. This is the best place to get up-to-date information about what is happening at the school. As a parent, you will receive an invitation from Edsby, please accept this invite for access to your child(ren’s) account. In Edsby, you will be able to
  • Enter attendance for your child(ren) if they will be absent from school
  • Access your child(ren’s) progress report cards
  • View a calendar of upcoming school events
     
• Medications: If your child requires medication on a scheduled basis, or in the case of an emergency such as an Epi-pen or inhaler, please be sure to complete the Regina Roman Catholic School Parent Authorization for Health Care Intervention Form which can be picked up in the office. The health and safety of our students is a concern and priority for all at St. Elizabeth.

• SchoolCash Online: SchoolCash is our system for electronic payments of all division and school-based costs. Each child must be registered in this program. Some of the items included in this are noon supervision fees and school related field trips where payment is required.

  How to register and attach your child(ren)

  • School Cash Online Site: https://stelizabeth.rcsd.ca/school-cash-online
  • Required information:
    • student first name
    • student last name
    • student birth date (MM/DD/YYYY)
    • Student number is optional
       
• Volunteering: Would you like to volunteer during school events? All school volunteers are required to have a current Criminal Record Vulnerable Sector Check (CRC) on file for each school year (Sept. – June of the current school year).
  • Contact the school office for the required documents, which will be sent home with your child. It is important to note that you need the letter from École St. Elizabeth to take to the Regina Police Service (RPS) to ensure that you do not pay a fee for the CRC.
  • To book an in-person appointment
    • Book your appointment online with RPS https://www.reginapolice.ca/resources/criminal-record-check/
    • Take two pieces of government issued ID to your appointment
  • Alternatively, you can apply for a CRC online. However, with this option, RCSD will not pay the fee, and you will not be reimbursed. https://www.policesolutions.ca/checks/services/regina/index.php
  • Once you have your completed CRC from the RPS, please submit it to the school along with the Confidentiality Agreement, which we sent home with your child. 
     
• CSCC: Our parent council is always looking for volunteers and support! Joining the CSCC is a wonderful way to share your ideas and to support the mission of the school. Please watch the calendar for meeting times and dates. Meetings - École St. Elizabeth
   
• Munchalunch: CSCC has one special lunch scheduled per month for students in Kindergarten to Grade 8. Orders are to be placed on-line a week in advance though the Munchalunch website: https://munchalunch.com/schools/stelizabeth/
   

• Before & After School Program: Beyond Fun is the childcare provider for our school before and after hours. They provide care for students in Kindergarten and up. You can contact the B. & A. provider for St Elizabeth at the following email address: ba.beyondfun@gmail.com
