Winter Weather

While we are grateful for the changing seasons, the cold can create some challenges. Thank you for your cooperation preparing students with appropriate outdoor winter clothing. A reminder about important winter notifications: RCSD Transportation announces all cancellations by email and text. If all transportation is cancelled, you will also see the announcement on all school websites and in Edsby.

At -45°C or colder, with or without wind chill, all RCSD transportation (yellow buses, vans, and paratransit) is cancelled.

At -40°C or colder, with or without wind chill, we cancel all paratransit services and the use of hydraulic lifts on specialized vehicles.

St. Raphael Angels

Congratulations to the students and staff at St. Raphael School. They moved into their new home at the end of January, bringing together students from the former St. Michael and St. Peter school communities. We wish all those in the new joint-use facility many blessings in this first year of learning together as a school community.
